Sam Steele is a digital content creator originally from North Vancouver.

Hey, I’m Sam. This site is a modest collection of the work I’ve done with a wide range of clients in the Vancouver area.

My background in photographing weddings, nightlife, and entertainment has taught me a lot about communication, community, and has sharpened my ability to put people at ease in front of the camera. These days I’m really enjoying bringing some life into corporate social media for local small and medium sized businesses.

My passions, though, lie in more creative projects for artists and organizations that serve the LGBTQ+ and queer communities in particular. Organizations like Public Disco have given me a lot of space to explore and say yes to my creative whims while also giving me the chance to showcase some incredible artists who deserve more screen time.

I’ve spent the last 10 years also working in the music industry as a Music Producer, Mixing and Mastering Engineer, Songwriter, Remixer, and DJ. I am a Berklee College of Music alumni and am currently working as a member of the production team known as Goddexx. My production partner, Josh McRae, and I have produced under this moniker as well as for and in collaboration with a number of Vancouver artists including I M U R, Quanah Style, Scarlett Bobo, Elle Wolf, and songwriter Peter Jasciewicz. As a DJ I’ve played notable Vancouver venues including Open Studios, Celebrities Nightclub, 1181 Lounge, The Clubhouse, Index, 333, MIA, and The Waldorf Hotel.

My books are always open ready for the next creative opportunity to come my way.
